Biography

David is a problem solver with deep experience across a range of family law matters. Whether it’s a divorce, custody dispute, or property division, he works with clients to identify achievable goals to work toward. Once that’s been accomplished, he lays out a plan to give them the best possible chance of making it happen. David understands people are coming to him for help with the most serious problems they’ve ever faced. He believes an essential part of his job is to make sure they’re informed and aware of their options so they can make the best choices possible as they decide on a path forward. In this way, he considers himself to be more than attorney, but also a partner. When his clients succeed, he succeeds.

Matters related to family law are often emotionally charged. David’s clients have come to know him as a calm and rational voice, capable of devising and advancing smart legal strategies that bring them the peace of mind needed to focus on their mental and emotional well-being. David believes that allows those he works with to make better decisions, which leads to better overall outcomes.

David attended Texas A&M University, where he studied Political Science, graduating magna cum laude. He received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law. He is a member of the Family Law sections of both the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association. He and his wife enjoy traveling, watching movies, and spending time with their three dogs and his two children.
