For nearly 30 years, Allen Griffin has led a varied career that’s allowed him to serve people from all walks of life in many different capacities. Before joining Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson, Allen worked in the Dallas City Attorney’s Office as both a prosecutor and as a civil litigator running the urban rehabilitation docket. Before that, he owned his own private family law practice, was an associate and partner at other prominent family law firms, and a staff attorney helping to manage a poverty law practice. This experience has taught him that, while two cases may be similar, each turns on its own set of facts. That means attorneys can’t make assumptions only because a situation feels familiar. Allen works to give each client the personal attention they deserve.
Allen’s practice focuses on custody litigation, and he understands acutely how much these cases mean and what’s at stake for those involved. He’s a conscientious steward of his clients’ trust and a zealous advocate for their interests. At the same time, he’s always willing to give those he represents the unvarnished truth, so they know exactly what to expect every step of the way.
Allen attended Baylor University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English before attending and graduating from Baylor Law School. Outside the office, Allen enjoys running, biking, and spending time with his wife and children. He recently welcomed a new grandchild into the world, and he and his wife are excited to find opportunities to spoil her.
